The Hamburg connection
Fredrik Jönsson and Nina Wollner at Ummocrono know us very well from previous collaborations and were appointed to design Practico’s corporate visual identity and this web site. Our recent work with them has been both fast and highly intuitive.
The timing has been perfect in many respects. The establishment of Practico at the beginning of October 2011 coincided with Fredrik and Nina’s relocation from Barcelona to Hamburg – so it was an exciting new start for all of us. The same week Ummocrono landed in Hamburg, Paul, Kevin and Andy travelled over to spend two days working through the key concepts and direction of the firm itself and how it would be presented to our clients and partners.
Only a week later Andy was back in a Hamburg studio filming video for the landing page and has since returned for a follow up planning session. In the meantime Fredrik and Nina took full command of the creative decisions as well as the work and we are delighted with the results. Jason Fried of 37signals says, “When you’re high on inspiration you can get two weeks of work done in twenty-four hours “ and we can now see what he means.
Here are some scrapbook photos of our flying visits to Hamburg this Autumn when we also took some time to explore Germany’s second city, marching long days on a diet of frequent coffee and cake.
